This week, Lady Mariéme Jamme @mjamme converses with Mr Charles Abani, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ghana. He is of British and Nigerian descent and has dedicated 20 years of his life to promoting development, and equality in the world. Charles is very passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and enabling young people faced with poverty to live purposeful and sustainable lives. Charles cultivates the potential of the people of Ghana, so they can believe in themselves and be the protagonists of change. He believes that if they succeed, we all succeed, in the same sentiment of Ubuntu, to Charles, “I am because you are”.
Listen to learn how we together, can be all part of the change. Also, how we can cultivate belief in ourselves to make our voices heard. We are a small team dedicated to making the world a better place by creating inspiring content for people who want to do better and be better.”
