In continuation of our Girls in ICT Day celebrations, we have reached our ‘Special 100th Episode’. Lady Mariéme, our esteemed host was joined by our humble guest, Jayathma Wickramanayake, the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth.

Her extraordinary journey started as a community mobilizer, and when she started a youth-led non-profit called ‘Hashtag Generation’ from Srilanka, her birthplace. She shared her journey of being the UN Youth Envoy while focusing on the biggest challenges faced by youth. Jayathma and Lady Mariéme share a passion for providing access to knowledge and technology to youth while closing the digital gender divide. They Both seat as Board members of the ITU Generation Connect Visionaries.
